Oil remains lower after rise in U.S. rig count

Oil futures remained under pressure Friday after oilfield-services company Baker Hughes Inc. said the number of U.S. oil rigs rose by 5 this week to 226. That remains well off the year-ago number of 685. West Texas Intermediate crude for December delivery
