This match was truly a highlight of the event, with Humphries narrowly winning 7-4 after being behind 4-2 at one stage.

The tournament broke records with a total of 914 180s, raising £914,000 for charity, which was rounded up to £1 million.

With intense competition, particularly between the two Lukes, fans can look forward to an outstanding display at Alexandra Palace.

Humphries is set to kick off his title defense on the first night of the tournament, going up against the victor of Thibault Tricole vs. Joe Comito, while Littler will make his entrance on December 21—timed perfectly with Tyson Fury‘s rematch against Oleksandr Usyk.

Additionally, prominent players such as Stephen Bunting, Nathan Aspinall, and Michael van Gerwen are also slated to compete.

Sadly, there will be no emotional send-off for darts legend Steve Beaton, as the Bronzed Adonis could not qualify after the first round of Tour Card Holder qualifying.
