AWORKINPROGRESS (2.12 Lingfield, nap)
This horse looks ready to excel and maintain a flawless chasing record. Nick Gifford’s five-year-old won his chase debut at Stratford and followed it up with another victory at the same course and distance three weeks ago. Preferring softer ground, he should manage the 8lb weight increase without issue.
KYNTARA (1.15 Newbury, nb)
This horse has an impressive hurdles record, including a second place in the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham last season. He placed second in his only chasing attempt in 2022, and his front-running style is well suited for this small field.
TIGHTENOURBELTS (12.50 Ludlow, treble)
This horse jumped impressively to lead to victory at Exeter last time. A 3lb increase seems reasonable, and he has the stamina to handle this distance effectively.
CABHFUILFUNGI (2.35 Ludlow, lucky 15)
This horse may pose a challenge for commentators but completes our Lucky 15. He has finished second in his last two starts, and his latest performance appears stronger than the current opposition.
