The home side boasted a notably young lineup, featuring 15-year-old Yaman Suakar.

Midfielder Suakar played 88 minutes in the match, achieving the milestone of being the second-youngest player in his team’s history.

Fenerbahce, with experienced players such as Sofyan Amrabat, Caglar Soyuncu, and Youssef En-Nesyri, secured a convincing 3-0 win over Kasimpasa.

En-Nesyri netted the opening goal for his team within the first two minutes, followed by Yusuf Akcicek who increased the lead before the 30-minute mark.

Bartug Elmaz capped the scoring at 3-0 by halftime, with the second half remaining scoreless.

After the match, Mourinho convened with the young Kasimpasa players for discussion.

Video footage shared on social media features the 61-year-old delivering a passionate address to the players.

Upon completing his motivational talk, Mourinho acknowledged the players, garnering applause from the Kasimpasa squad.

Another commenter remarked jokingly: “He can only beat U19 teams. Unfortunately….”

Another shared: “That’s mutual respect. They applauded him after his speech. I love this.”

Conversely, a skeptic replied: “While others admire this, I find it quite arrogant. Are you their coach?”

Fenerbahce currently ranks second in the Turkish Super Lig after 17 matches.

They trail their rivals Galatasaray by eight points.

Last season’s Turkish title race extended to the closing moments.

Mourinho’s predecessor, Ismail Kartal, amassed 99 points but fell short of the championship, ultimately losing to Galatasaray.

Following this, Kartal parted ways at his contract’s conclusion, allowing the Portuguese manager to step in.
