However, Toney, a former Brentford player who secured the Asian Champions League title with Saudi club Al-Ahli in his debut season, commented: “That’s his choice. He may have a different viewpoint.
“He clearly hasn’t experienced the league. The quality is astounding. I frequently mention that people form opinions without actually seeing it firsthand, you know?
“You genuinely need to witness it live to develop an informed perspective.
“If more people attended some matches, they would quickly understand.
“I know it holds a high standard. You wouldn’t disregard it if you’ve been involved. It’s very competitive.”
Toney also applauded his former Brentford teammate and Manchester United prospect Bryan Mbeumo, asserting that he would thrive at Old Trafford or at any top club that signs him this summer.
Toney told talkSPORT: “He knows how to find the net, understands positioning for teammates, and has a similar penalty technique.
“He’s an outstanding talent and deserves to play for elite teams.”

England coach Thomas Tuchel believes Toney’s debut season in Saudi Arabia justified a return to the Three Lions squad.
The former Bees player netted 23 league goals for Al-Ahli, ending just two behind the SPL’s top scorer, Cristiano Ronaldo of Al-Nassr.

Toney is optimistic that consistent performances will secure his place on the squad for next summer’s World Cup.
Toney, 29, stated: “It’s disappointing not to surpass Ronaldo, but perhaps next season.
I always maintain a positive outlook. Negative thoughts lead to negative results.
“If you play well and score, there’s only one decision to make. The manager recognizes that, which is why he welcomed me back.
“I’m a player in Saudi Arabia. If that causes concern for others, that’s for them to handle, but my focus is solely on my football at this moment.”
