Horse Racing Insights: “Primed and Prepared—Templegate’s 5-2 NAP for the Gosdens”
TEMPLEGATE approaches Friday’s racing with enthusiasm, aiming to boost the bankroll ahead of Royal Ascot.

BURRITO (4.10 York, nap)
Having not raced during his two-year-old season, this offspring of Lope De Vega, trained by Gosden, demonstrated notable promise with a debut win at Newmarket last year. He narrowly missed at Chester in September before undergoing gelding over the winter. Returning to Newbury 28 days ago, the four-year-old appeared bigger and stronger, surging ahead and winning by more than the official half-length margin. While the handicapper has adjusted, a 10lb rise seems justified.
MISS JUSTICE (3.15 Sandown, nb)
She is expected to thrive at this longer distance with William Buick riding, after a strong second at Wolverhampton last time out. Making her handicap debut at the same rating, she looks ready to secure another win for the Gosden team.
TOPTEAM (3.25 Chester, treble)
He delivered an outstanding performance over this course and distance 13 days ago, winning by more than three lengths. While this race appears a bit tougher, he has room for further development under Andrew Balding.
