Orlando Pirates Set to Acquire Galaxy Defender

Orlando Pirates are nearing their 10th signing, with Lebone Seama poised to join from TS Galaxy, as reported by Sportswire.

Seama has been participating in training sessions with the Buccaneers, who are evaluating the skill set of the young defender. The 22-year-old has been with TS Galaxy since 2022, making a notable impact last season with 30 appearances (22 in the league), helping Tim Sukazi’s team secure a fifth-place finish.

Should Seama finalize his transfer, he will augment an impressive lineup of new signings for the upcoming season. Key additions include Yanela Mbuthuma and Nkosikhona Mbatha from Richards Bay, Oswin Appollis from Polokwane City, Masindi Nemtajela (Marumo Gallants), Tshepang Moremi (AmaZulu), Sinoxolo Kwayiba (Chippa United), Tshepo Mashiloane (Baroka), and Sihle Nduli (Stellenbosch).

The Soweto Giants have secured second place in the league for the third consecutive year and also won their third straight MTN8 title last season. They are now guided by new head coach Abdelsam Ouaddou, who took over from Jose Riveiro earlier this month.

The team is set to enter a pre-season training camp in Spain, where they will play four friendly matches.
