YZi Labs Unveils $1B Builder Fund to Boost BNB Chain Projects

YZi Labs, formerly known as Binance Labs, has launched a $1 billion Builder Fund designed to enhance innovation within the BNB ecosystem.

Summary

  • YZi Labs introduces a $1B Builder Fund to assist founders in the BNB ecosystem.
  • The fund targets projects in DeFi, AI, real-world assets, biotech, and Web3 infrastructure.
  • BNB Chain has reached record levels of activity, averaging 26M daily transactions and achieving new price ATHs.

This initiative is aimed at founders building on BNB Chain, offering support for projects in decentralized finance, AI, real-world assets, biotech, and decentralized science.

The program aligns with the ongoing surge in activity and price increases of BNB (BNB), indicating heightened engagement from developers and users alike.

Strengthening support for builders in BNB Chain

On October 8, YZi Labs revealed that the new fund will provide both financial and technical support to teams utilizing BNB Chain’s fast and affordable infrastructure. The program will complement the EASY Residency accelerator and include a specialized track within BNB Chain’s Most Valuable Builder initiative.

Participants can receive up to $500,000 in direct funding, along with access to YZi Labs’ vast network of mentors, investors, and technical experts.

To promote global connections among founders, YZi Labs is expanding its residency program to places such as New York, San Francisco, Dubai, and Singapore. The firm manages over $10 billion in assets and has supported more than 300 projects across 25 countries, including PancakeSwap, ListaDAO, Aster, and Aspecta.

Strengthening the BNB ecosystem

The launch comes on the heels of several strong quarters for BNB Chain, which now processes approximately 26 million transactions daily and leads in decentralized exchange trading volume and daily active users.

On October 7, BNB achieved a new all-time high, surpassing $1,330. Enhancements like the Maxwell hardfork have optimized performance by reducing block times and gas fees, positioning BNB Chain as one of the most efficient major blockchains.

Ella Zhang, Head of YZi Labs, described BNB as “a dynamic network with a global footprint and significant on-chain depth,” emphasizing that the fund aims to assist founders who are developing tools that bridge blockchain technology with real-world applications.

This initiative marks a pivotal advancement in the evolution of BNB Chain into a scalable platform for decentralized applications, promoting developments in technology, finance, and AI sectors.

Applications for the EASY Residency and MVB Track are now open, welcoming builders to engage in the next phase of growth within the BNB ecosystem.
