KEELY HODGKINSON was honored with a stunning Tiffany tiara valued at £20,000 by tennis legend Serena Williams after her victory at a spectacular event in New York.
The Team GB athlete, who narrowly missed the world gold last month in Tokyo by earning a bronze medal following Kenyan Lilian Odira’s win, clocked a time of 1:56.53 at the all-female Athlos gathering in the Big Apple.

Hodgkinson, 23, concluded her injury-impacted season with the tiara adorning her head, courtesy of the former tennis champion Williams, who is now pursuing this new venture alongside her affluent husband.
Her fellow competitor, Georgia Hunter Bell, the world silver medalist, finished second with a time of 1:58.33 on Friday evening.
The Olympic champion remarked: “I haven’t been in many races this season, so it was a bit easier for me to come out and test my limits.”
“The atmosphere out there is incredible, making it exceptionally enjoyable.”
Conversely, Hodgkinson is eager to face off against the versatile Femke Bol as she prepares for the LA Olympics.
Bol, 25, is transitioning from the 400-meter hurdles, where she has garnered several accolades, to the 800 meters in 2026.
Britain’s Golden Girl remains the reigning Olympic champion in the two-lap event and is recognized among the fastest women ever.
Nonetheless, she welcomes the challenge posed by the swift Dutch athlete starting next year and even at the forthcoming Olympics in California.

Hodgkinson added: “She reached out to me prior to making her announcement. We are really close friends and have been for quite a while.”
“I genuinely value our friendship. I think it’s brave and admirable for her to be so transparent.”
Tennis legend Serena Williams showcases her impressive body transformation after losing 40lbs post-birth.
“I think Femke is still gaining experience in middle-distance races. It’s commendable for her to take on this challenge in such a competitive arena.”
“Female athletes are recording remarkable times, and I admire her ambition to take this path.”
“I truly wish her all the best; she absolutely has the potential to excel in the 800.”
“It might take her some time to adjust to the event, considering she hasn’t raced among competitors who could impact her rhythm.”
“It’s a completely different experience. However, I believe she will thrive, and I am eager to see her progress.”
