Authorities Arrest MP Fadiel Adams
Pretoria – The head of the National Coloured Congress, MP Fadiel Adams, has been arrested in connection with allegations of fraud and obstructing justice.
This case involves serious accusations regarding his involvement in the ongoing investigation into the 2017 murder of former African National Congress Youth League leader, Sindiso Magaqa.
MP Adams was taken into custody on Tuesday, 5 May 2026, outside the Parliamentary Village in Cape Town.
Witnesses reported observing police officers escorting him to a waiting vehicle, where he was placed inside the van before being taken to a police station.
