OLLIE WATKINS is reportedly contemplating a departure from Aston Villa to join Arsenal.
The Gunners are actively seeking the England forward, who has emerged as their top target to fill in for the injured Gabriel Jesus.
Arsenal recently had a £60million offer DECLINED by Aston Villa, who are potentially losing Jhon Duran.
Villa is likely to reject a second offer for their star forward due to the urgency of finding a suitable substitute.
Nonetheless, long-time Gunners fan Watkins is said to be receptive to the idea of moving from Villa Park to the Emirates.

However, he did express joy on social media following Villa’s progression to the last-16 of the Champions League on Wednesday.

Watkins has played a pivotal role in Villa’s progress under former Gunners coach Unai Emery.
The Three Lions striker has enjoyed a fruitful season, recording 11 goals and assisting nine times in 32 appearances.
